I had so much fun on my first VVRMC blog, I decided to try it again!

And speaking of fun (and soreness) I enjoyed my brief time at Andale this past weekend. I say brief because I ran in the event and literally ran to my car to make it to a Chiefs pee wee football game down the road (Chiefs won!!!).

A big thanks to everyone who took time out of their weekend to volunteer. It was great to see Liz Partida in action on the cover of the newspaper Sunday morning. There is a STAR among us! Also, Marvin was a super MC....maybe he'll let me borrow that hat sometime. It was great to see so many joggers, runners and walkers out there from VVRMC. Great family fun continues!!! If you were out there and participated and did not get our new, bright yellow VVRMC community-support t-shirt, check w/ Francine and make sure you pick it up. These are shirts we've ordered for joggers/walkers/runners for the many 5K's during the year so that over time we can show our team spirit as we do these events together.
