June 15, 2012 - Urology back for now!

Folks,
I just had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Nelson, our first visiting urologist from El Paso.  He is on the ground and w/ us through next Saturday.  Nice guy.  When you see him make him feel at home at VVRMC.  He's excited to be here and ready to work. 

While here he is covering the ED after-hours and will be in clinic in Dr. Floyd's old space during the day.  We are even having a Saturday clinic in the morning.  The Saturday clinics will be out of the urgent care center. 

Please help spread the word that urology appointments are available immediately.  We are working hard to get the word out.  They will be operating as well.  Block time on Wednesday and of course we will accomidate any add-on or emergent surgery. 

Please holler at us if you have any questions around the temporary urology service.  After Dr. Nelson leaves, we will have a few days before we get our second one.  We have pretty steady coverage through September and will be interviewing soon another temporary urologist to cover us through the end of the year. 

We also have an interview lined up for a full-time, move to Del Rio-permanently urologist in a couple of weeks.  Keep your fingers crossed!
